Why good therapists still have empty hours
Open hours rarely come from the quality of the work. They come from three things that happen outside the treatment room.
Rebooking is left to the client
Most clients intend to come back and then forget. A reminder and an easy way to rebook does more for a schedule than a new advertisement.
Listings go stale
There is not enough manpower. After a day of massage your arms are tired and your fingers are stiff, and updating Google, Yelp, and booking sites is the last thing you want to do.
The back office waits
You are in service, or in a zen state, for most of the day. You cannot answer inquiries fast enough and still give each client a great session.
None of this is about hands-on skill, and most therapists never trained for it. It is the first thing I invest in for you.

A free, one-year mentorship
No fees
There is no membership fee, no marketing fee, and nothing to buy. I earn from the bookings I send you, and my apparel line supports the rest. That is how I can offer this free.
One year together
The mentorship is planned to run for one year, so there is time to build your schedule and learn the business side.
No boss
You are an independent contractor, not an employee. You run your own business, set your own schedule, and decide how you perform your services.
What you need
A current massage therapy license, your own office or treatment space, and liability insurance of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence.
From open hours to your own spa
I hope to work with you for years. How far we go together is up to you, and each stage builds on the one before it.
Fill your schedule
We start with the open hours in your week. Bookings, reminders, and rebooking begin as soon as you are set up.
Build a full practice
We add your featured services, memberships, and offerings such as reiki and crystal healing, with me a phone call away.
Grow into a spa
If our work aligns after the mentorship year, I can open a business that you run and manage, and in which you earn sweat equity. That could be a spa, wellness center, or yoga studio. Forming an LLC together and seeking funding typically takes about two years from that point.
Any sweat equity or ownership would be set out in its own written agreement at that stage. The starting agreement is an independent contractor agreement and does not itself give either of us ownership in the other's business.

I want to make diamonds out of people
I have 16 years of hands-on experience in massage and esthetics, and I have built four spas over my career. This one is doing the best of them all. I am also the founder of the B Radiant skincare line and a fashion designer who brings wellness into clothing.
It took me years of guessing to learn the marketing, the listings, and the systems that keep a practice full. I would like to hand you what I learned, so your dream does not take as long as mine did.
I am not looking for employees or managers. I am looking for therapists I can invest in, get to know, and build with for years, with a group of other therapists building alongside you.

Is it really free?
Yes. There is no fee to join and no ongoing fee. I earn from the bookings I send you, so I do well only when you are booked.
What do you mean by investing like an angel investor?
I put my time, marketing, systems, and experience into your practice before I earn anything from it. I am not putting money into your business or taking a share of it. You stay the owner of your practice.
Will I own a spa with you?
That is my goal for the therapists who build with me. If our work aligns after the mentorship year, I can open a business that you run and manage, and in which you earn sweat equity. It is not part of the starting agreement, and would be set out in a separate written agreement at that stage.
Do I keep my own clients?
Yes. Clients you already have, and clients you bring in yourself, remain your own relationships. Clients who come through Bles Wellness marketing are booked through our system.
How many bookings will I get?
It depends on your area, your availability, and the services you offer. We recommend being in your office and open for booking at least 20 hours a week, so we have room to book you and build a successful business. We do not guarantee a number of bookings or a level of income.
Can I still work elsewhere?
Yes. As an independent contractor you are free to serve other clients and work with other businesses.
What if it is not working for me?
As part of this partnership, we work it out together, and I give you the tools to make it work. The partnership is voluntary on both sides, and we request one year at this level. If it is clearly not working for both of us, we ask for 30 days' notice to end the agreement. And if you want to go your own way, well then, namaste.
What do I need to provide?
With your application, upload your massage therapy license and proof of liability insurance. After that, we ask for a short bio, photos, and the descriptions and prices of the three services you want featured. Those can be your best sellers or the modalities you specialize in.
